Ego's Wins Business
Achievement Award!

Ego's Nurseries Ltd. recently was awarded the Oro-Medonte Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement Award for Site Enhancement.

In 2008, Ego's undertook a renovation to our outdoor retail area where trees, shrubs and perennials are displayed.

The project included the relocation of three hoop houses and redesign of the area (about 10,000 sq ft) to create a more "garden like" setting. The new display area includes a feature garden and pergola, display gardens for showcasing new varieties of plants, rest/sitting areas for customers, and large displays of plants.

The construction of the feature garden and stone work were completed in partnership withNorthridge Landscaping and Atlas Block.

The area was used to host several special events in 2008 including a fundraising BBQ for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, a customer AprreciationNight for landscape trades people, the Canadian Greenhouse Conference Tour, among others.
